The Benagil cave is on the coast between Portimão and Albufeira in southern Portugal. The cave is probably the most famous tourist attraction on the Algarve coast and there are plenty of boat trips from several places nearby that take tourists here. It is not possible to walk here, but it is just around the corner from the Benagil beach so if you have a SUP or kayak you can get here quite easily. More fun if you come here with your own boat and off season. In August the cave is often crowded with people. Nearest airport is Faro.
