Merry Christmas from our hometown!
During Christmas, it feels good to be at home with the family. We live in the area under the drone camera in Sitio da Nazaré. Who knows; Maybe we are taking a Christmas sauna and taking a dip in the pool when you read this? Or we take a nice walk past the church on the square that you see to the right in the picture. And from there down to the lighthouse that divides the city of Nazaré in south from the wild Praia do Norte.
The circular building is the bullfighting arena; Praça de Touros da Nazaré. It is located 120 meters above sea level and has its own small square in front of the ticket booths. Thanks to the big elevation difference between the ocean and many residential areas in Nazaré, many homes offer fantastic views of the sea and the area.
The easiest way to get here is via Lisbon Airport – 120 km. By can it is an hour and 15 min, not more. The highway bus from Lisbon leaves from Sete Rios and brings you to Nazaré – very convenient.
