A sea gull by the pool. And this is a gull by a very special pool – the pool of Hotel Memmo Alfama, located on one of the seven hills of Lisbon. The area Alfama is on the eastern part of central Lisbon and still has the original charm with narrow, steep streets. In the background of the picture, you see the churches São Vicente de For a and Panteão Nacional.
How to get here: There is only one-way worthwhile mentioning. Tram # 28 or Electrico 28 as they say in Lisbon. This tram takes shuttles between Graça and Prazeres, on a route that slips between historic places, narrow streets, and steep hills. This is probably the most famous tram in all of Europe. Don´t miss it!
It´s easy to get here from Lisbon airport just a few minutes drive from central Lisbon.
