Is this Hawaii? No, it is the beach of Ferrel in the Peniche municipality on the Silver Coast. A fantastic bay with sand beach all the way from the city of Peniche to the peninsula of Baleal. You will find good waves here in different places depending on the wind and wave conditions that day. All year round. If the waves aren´t great in the bay, try out Praia Baleal Norte or Almagreira.
And you don´t need to be a surfer to enjoy it here! The beaches are world class and there are many nice, relaxed ocean view restaurants. On top of that – a few minutes’ drive from 4 nice golf courses just north of Ferrel.
Easiest way to get here is via Lisbon. You will get here in an hour from the airport.
