Commercial cinema returns in March to Cine-teatro da Nazaré. The City Hall has acquired a new projection system that will allow the realization of digital cinema sessions in the 2D and 3D versions.
“It is with great pride that we announce the expansion of Nazaré’s regular cultural offerings to the cinema, thus facilitating access to the premieres of the 7th art without the need for travel.
We will have a regular program of cinema at the Cine-theater as of this month (March), and the periodicity of the sessions can be adapted to the demand, particularly in special times, times of the year when we are visited by thousands of people, and that will have in this offer another opportunity of choice for their leisure time, “says Manuel Sequeira, Councilor for Culture in the Chamber.
Adult sessions will take place on Fridays and Saturdays (6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m.); and Sundays for the kids (11am and 5pm).
“Resuming the cinema program in this emblematic room is a great satisfaction,” says Walter Chicharro, Mayor.
For the mayor, the film sessions will “complement cultural offerings to the inhabitants and visitors”, at the same time positioning itself as “an element of affirmation and differentiation of the territory”.
“I will be, along with my family, one of the consumers of this new offer, made possible through the commitment, in particular by the councilman of culture, Manuel Sequeira, and the investment made by the executive I lead.”
The premiere will be on March 18, with the films: Coco (11:00 am) and Eu, Tonya (5:00 pm).
