The 37th edition of the open sea swim competition “Prova de Mar” was held on August 15 2019 in Nazaré on the Silver coast. In bright sunshine more than 100 enthusiastic competitors mastered the 1.300-meter half marathon water race, celebrated by thousands of people cheering at the finish line on the beach.
Thanks to Lino Bogalho at Nazaré Water Fun Niklas Forsén from Imo Nazaré/Portugalagent was able to see the start from the sea. Look at his pictures below!
Winner was Joao Correia from Clube de Nataçao de Alcobaça, followed by Gonçalo Balbino ond 2nd and Abel Afonso coming in 3rd, both from CNTN-Triatlon.
