Nazar\u00e9 will celebrate the Day of the Sea Man with a maritime procession and a show as a tribute to fisherman, next weekend.<\/p>\n

The tribute to fishermen, and their contribution to the economy and local identity, begins on Saturday, April 30, with the procession on land, (from the \u00a0Chapel of\u00a0S. Pedro Capela de N. Senhora dos Aflitos),\u00a0followed by Mass at beach (with the Captaincy)\u00a0and a musical show , with Guilherme Azevedo; Joana Codinha; Rita Coelho, Tatiana Andr\u00e9 e Miguel \u00c2ngelo\u00a0and the participation of the Ethnographic Dance Group and Nazar\u00e9 Song.<\/p>\n

On the 1st May, the religious images will be transported from the Chapel of N. S. dos Aflitos\u00a0to the vessels which carried out the Maritime Procession of the Sea Man’s Day.<\/p>\n

Highlighting the importance of the fisheries sector and fishermen to Nazar\u00e9, \u00a0are some of the objectives of this initiative of the parish of Pederneira – Nazar\u00e9, which has the support of the Nazar\u00e9 Municipality.<\/p>\n

April 30th
\n15h00: Procession on land (the Chapel of S. Pedro to the Chapel of N. S. dos Aflitos)
\n16h00: Mass in Areal (with the Captaincy)
\n17h30: Spectacle tribute to the Fisherman (stage by the Captaincy)<\/p>\n

May 01
