With a very demanding route, which mediates the Atlantic Coast and Serra de Montejunto, a region with a strong connection to cycling, holding the stage of 5th August was a joint decision of OesteCIM who understands the event as a good vehicle for promoting of the region.<\/p>\n
“In the particular case of Nazar\u00e9, was a goal we had for some time and that was reinforced in the previous year, after making the stage of Serra da Estrela, by the organization’s invitation. It will be positive for Nazar\u00e9, but also for the Tour of Portugal which returns in 2016, one of the most emblematic land in the country, “says Walter Chicharro.<\/p>\n
For the mayor, “the experience we have in large events, tells us that the return, direct and indirect, is always very positive for the economy, but also for the promotion and dissemination of Nazar\u00e9\u00b4s brand.
